What if my matter doesn't fit a fixed-fee package?
Most don't — and we say so. We quote a fee range after the first 30-minute meeting. If the scope changes mid-engagement, we flag it before incurring additional cost, not after. You always know the ceiling before authorising work.
Are taxes and disbursements included?
Fees quoted are net of VAT (23%). Government fees (KRS filings, KW entries, court fees, expert witness fees, translation) are passed through at cost with prior approval. We do not mark up disbursements.
What if the engagement is cancelled mid-way?
For fixed-fee packages, partial completion is invoiced at the percentage of scope delivered, plus 15% for project setup. For hourly engagements, you pay for time actually worked. No cancellation penalties beyond completed work.
